Overcome the Challenge of Generating Fresh Content Ideas

As the saying goes, content is king, but trying to think of new content can be, well, so difficult.

Have you ever found yourself staring at a blank screen, trying to come up with fresh content ideas for your business?

I know I have. It can be overwhelming, to say the least. But fear not, because I'm here to share some tips and resources that have helped me in my content creation journey.

First and foremost, it's important to remember that your content should always speak to your audience:

  • What do they want to see?

  • What questions do they have?

  • What problems can you solve for them?

Keep these key questions in mind as you brainstorm content ideas.

My 3 tips and resources to help you get inspired and ready to tackle your next content creation challenge:

  • BuzzSumo

One resource that has been a game-changer for me is BuzzSumo. this website allows you to enter a topic or keyword and see which content related to that topic has performed well on social media platforms. This not only helps with content ideation but also provides insights into what your audience finds valuable.

  • Google Trends

Another tool that I love using is Google Trends. it shows you the popularity of a specific keyword or topic over time, allowing you to identify any spikes or trends that could be relevant to your audience. You can also compare multiple keywords to see which one has more search volume.

  • Real-Life

But sometimes, the best content ideas come from real-life experiences. Have you ever had a conversation with a client or customer that sparked an idea? Don't be afraid to use these interactions as inspiration for your content. your audience will appreciate the relatability and authenticity.

The main takeaway is this…

It's important to not get too caught up in the idea-generation process. Remember that not every piece of content has to be a masterpiece. sometimes, it's the simpler ideas that resonate the most with your audience. And if you're struggling, take a break and come back to it with a fresh eye. As women business owners in the digital marketing space, we have the power to create impactful and meaningful content that connects with our audience. Now, time to create fresh content for your ideal audience!
